Super Bowl Halftime Show: Beyonce surprised with the release of the new song “Formation.” This is Queen Bey’s first single in over year. The track has an interesting sound and mix of rap and song. The lyrics of the new Beyonce’s song aim at Bey haters, but are full of references. Good thing there is Genius. The site explains what the lyrics mean.
Formation features New Orleans musician Big Freeda. The intro and interlude lines are spliced together from an Anthony Barre video, better known by his social media name, Messy Mya. He was shot in 2010. The song is not just against Beyonce’s haters but also against gun violence.
The new Beyonce song is available for free streaming on Tidal. Watch the intense Formation music video below (Explicit lyrics.) Watch out for little Blue Ivy, daughter of 34-year-old Beyonce.
Beyonce is a guest performer at the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show today. If she is going to perform Formation it would bring down the Levi’s stadium. That song is a stark contrast to anything Coldplay has ever done. I would love to see Beyonce performing Formation today.
The Super Bowl 51 Halftime Show will be performed by Coldplay with guests Bruno Mars and Beyonce. The Super Bowl 50 is here. Today, Sunday, February 7, 2016 the Broncos play against the Panthers in Santa Clara, in the Levi’s Stadium. It is Peyton Manning against Cam Newton. It is the old sheriff against the young Superman. The stadium is home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl’s because of the anniversary.
