The Super Bowl LI halftime show will be headlined by Lady Gaga. Yes, U heard it right- The countdown to the Super Bowl 2017 is ON! Lady Gaga will be officially performing at the 51st annual football championship event on 5th February 2016 at NRG Stadium in Houston. This isn’t the first time Gaga perform in Super Bowl. Last year for Super Bowl 50, she sang the National Anthem. The halftime performances in 2016 Super Bowl were given by Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. Lady Gaga’s new album, Joanne is set to be released on 21st October.

Lady Gaga tweeted saying, “It’s not an illusion. The Rumours are true. This year’s Super Bowl goes Gaga!”

Earlier, there is a rumour of Adele to perform in half time of Super Bowl 51. But when asked at a show, Adele clearly says- I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very Kind. They did ask me, but I did say no.” Finally, the pop star in talks to headline the halftime show at the 2017 Super Bowl. Lady Gaga is well known for her energetic performances. She says during an interview with NFL team. “This is one of the highest honors of my career, I get a chance to sing for all the athletes- who have been working so hard their whole lives for this moment.” Her first single from the upcoming album, “Perfect Illusion”, was released on 9th September, also she is starring in Season 6 of “American Horror Story” premiered on Fox.
